Toronto FC announced today that the club has acquired $50,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM) from the Colorado Rapids in exchange for the rights to forward Nicolas Benezet. Toronto FC could receive an additional $50,000 in GAM if Benezet meets certain performance-based metrics with the Rapids.
