Tornadoes to Hold 2-for-1 Food Drive at Ballpark

Worcester, MA -- The Worcester Tornadoes will be holding a Food Drive at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 3-4, to benefit the Worcester County Food Bank on Rte. 9 in Shrewsbury. Any fan who brings 2 canned goods to the ballpark for either the 6:05pm game on Tuesday or Wednesday night against Atlantic City, will be able to purchase 2 Tornadoes tickets for the price of 1 for the game that night. This special offer is valid for all seats in the park. Fans must purchase a ticket to receive another of the same value for free. Several large bins for food collection will be set up at the main entrance to the ballpark. At the end of the night, the food will be delivered to the Worcester County Food Bank in Shrewsbury.
