Game Notes: On the mound for the Tornadoes will be Chris Farley. After going 3-1 from June 13th to June 29th, he got hit hard his last time out on July 4th against Quebec. In that game, he gave up 8 earned runs and 7 hits in 2 1/3 innings while walking 5 batters. He has started twice against Brockton this season, going 1-1 in those games. He has given up 8 hits, 5 runs, and struck out only 2 batters in 13 innings against the Rox. For Brockton, RHP Buster Lussier will get the nod. He has appeared in 9 games this year, 6 as a reliever and 3 as a starter. In the three starts, he has gone 1-2 giving up 10 earned runs and 22 hits in 17 1/3 innings. Worcester did make it interesting in the 9th, getting 5 runs and having the bases loaded with 2 outs before getting a diving catch by OF Keith Brachold to end the game. Brockton pounded out 18 hits against the Tornadoes pitching staff while Worcester managed 10 against the Rox. Melvin Falu and Chris Valenica each had a home run for the Rox, bringing the total number of home runs to 8 in the first 2 games of the series. With an 0 for 5 night, Tornadoes OF Stantrel Smith did not get a hit for the first time in 10 games.

Offense: 2B Mark Minicozzi leads the team with 31 singles. 3B Chris Colabello leads the team with 16 extra base hits and 5 home runs. OF Stantrel Smith leads the team with 2 triples. RP Albert Ayala has made the second most appearances with 15 and has a .259 batting average against. Through 4 appearances, RP Rick Asadoorian has yet to give up a run and has only given up 5 total bases.
