In those games, he has gone 22 innings, giving up just 4 runs (3 earned), 12 hits, and striking out 21 batters. Kelly has also gotten run support in his past 4 starts, with the Tornadoes scoring 29 runs in those games. The 3 homeruns in the inning tied the Can-Am League record for home runs in an inning, as both New Jersey and North Shore accomplished the feat back in 2005. SP Zach Zuercher had one of his better starts of the season, giving up just 2 runs in 6 innings of work. Shawn Gilblair picked up the win, using 15 pitches to get through 2 scoreless innings. Santiesteban also contributed in the fielding, gunning out Michael Thompson on a throw from deep center. Nick Salotti also had a big game, going 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, 2 RBI's, and 3 runs scored. Worcester's 2 through 4 hitters of Omar Pena, Colabello, and Salotti were a combined 6 for 12 with 5 RBI's and 7 runs scored.
