'Topes Reveal 2009 Promotions

The Albuquerque Isotopes, Triple-A partner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, have unveiled their highly anticipated 2009 promotions schedule which is once again packed with great giveaways, exciting entertainment, and eight fireworks shows.
The âTopes begin their new partnership with the Dodgers in style on Opening Night, April 9, with a Dodger Fleece Blanket giveaway, kicking off an opening homestand that includes schedule magnet and t-shirt giveaways, as well as a special pre-game Easter Egg hunt on Easter Sunday, April 12.
Once again, the Isotopes promotions schedule is replete with the team's popular fireworks shows, as fans will get a chance to see the sky light up around Isotopes Park eight times in 2009, including three back-to-back fireworks nights. In addition to back-to-back Independence Day celebration shows on July 2 and July 3, fireworks aficionados will be able to enjoy a Memorial Day weekend fireworks celebration on May 23 and May 24 as well as Fan Appreciation pyrotechnics on August 29 and August 30.
In addition to the fireworks, Memorial Day weekend will be capped with a special cookout on May 25, where fans will be able to enjoy an Isotopes all-you-can-eat spread for one low price.
Of course, the promotions Isotopes supporters have come to expect over the years such as 50¢ Hot Dog Night, Baseball Cards, Orbit bobbleheads, and drawstring backpacks will return as well.
The 2009 promotions slate is also packed with entertainment such as Myron Noodleman, Birdzerk, and the Zooperstars, who will all be appearing at The Lab this season, as will the Famous Chicken, who makes his Isotopes Park debut on July 18. Fans of the Fab Four will also be treated to an encore performance by Beatlemania Again, who will be conducting a pre-game concert for the third straight year on June 6.
Tickets for individual Isotopes games go on sale Saturday, March 14 at 10:00 AM at the Isotopes Park Box Office, Ticketmaster locations, and www.ticketmaster.com as part of the team's Open House, Select-A-Seat, and National Anthem Audition day. The âTopes' regular season begins on April 9 against the Omaha Royals, Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals.
