
Baseball Tomorrow Fund Lends A Helping Hand In Slidell

Metairie, LA - Slidell High School will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday evening, celebrating the addition of new lights to its baseball field, made possible in part by a $158,000 grant from the Baseball Tomorrow Fund.
Slidell, in its 100th year of playing baseball, will hold the ceremony Friday, February 27, at 6:30 p.m.
The Baseball Tomorrow Fund is a joint initiative between Major League Baseball (MLB) and the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA). It is designed to promote and enhance the growth of baseball throughout the world by funding programs, fields and equipment purchases to encourage and maintain youth participation in baseball and softball.
