Tonight's Loons Game Postponed, Doubleheader Saturday

Midland, Mich. - Friday night's scheduled game between the Great Lakes Loons (64-40) (19-20) and the West Michigan Whitecaps (53-50) (21-17) has been postponed due to inclement weather. Rain poured down beginning at 6:30 p.m., making the field unplayable.

A doubleheader will now be played on Saturday, August 11th, with the first pitch of game one at 5:05 p.m. The Loons play in their fourth twin bill and have a record of 4-2 in seven-inning contests this season.

Saturday is Marvel Defenders of the Diamond™ Night with an appearance by Spider-Man. Great Lakes will wear their Marvel-inspired "Hell Diver" jerseys for the first time ever.
