
Tonight's Game Postponed Due to Extreme Weather

SALEM, VA - Tonight's game between the Carolina Mudcats and Salem Red Sox has been postponed due to extreme weather conditions at LewisGale Field in Salem. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader beginning at 2:05 p.m. on Sunday afternoon in Salem.
Citing the safety of their fans, the Salem Red Sox front office issued the following statement regarding Saturday's postponement: "For the safety of our guests, staff and players, tonight's game has been postponed due to extreme weather conditions at LewisGale Field."
Both games one and two of Sunday's doubleheader will be shortened to seven innings each.
