Tonight's Caps Game Pushed Back To 7:30 p.m.
August 12, 2010 - Golden Baseball League (GBL)
Edmonton Capitals News Release
Edmonton, AB - Tonight's Golden Baseball League game between the Edmonton Capitals and Chico Outlaws will begin at 7:30 p.m., rather than the original 7 p.m. start time, due to the current field conditions.
The heavy rainfall earlier in the day left multiple deposits of water on the playing surface at TELUS Field, and grounds crews have been working to dry up those areas. The playing field is expected to be ready by 7:30 p.m.
The Capitals appreciate the public's patience as the field is prepared for play, and fans are invited to take advantage of tonight's special 4 for $44 Thursday deal. Four tickets to the game, four hot dogs and four Pepsi products can be purchased for just $44 tonight.
The Capitals are Edmonton's first choice for professional baseball and family entertainment. Season seats start at less than $9 per game and are available pro-rated for the balance of the season. Individual game tickets are available for just $10 every game. Tickets are available at all Ticketmaster locations, the TELUS Field Box Office during regular business hours, by calling (780) 414-GOAL (4625) or online at capsbaseball.ca.
