Looking To Get Even: The Macon Trax will try to even their President's Cup semifinal series with the Orlando Seals tonight.
Records: The Trax come into tonight's game trailing this best of five series one game to none. This is the only home game the Trax will have in this series.
Playoff Series: Orlando leads this playoff series, 1-0.
Recent Action: Last night's first game of this series followed the trend of the regular season as Orlando won, 3-2 in overtime. In the regular season, 11 of the 12 games between the two teams were decided by one goal or else had an empty net goal. Last night's game winning goal came at 17:43 of overtime.
Playoff Power Play: TRAX 2-8 25.0% 1st Orlando 2-9 22.2% 2nd
Playoff Penalty Kill: TRAX 7-9 77.8% 2nd Orlando 6-8 75.0% 3rd
Tracking The Trax: All four goals in regulation time last night were scored on the power play...The only even strength goal of the game was the overtime winner...Geoff Faulkner made 40 saves last night, the most of any goalie in the playoffs...David Deeves became the first Trax player to score a playoff goal...You can see ACHL action on This Week in Southern Hockey which airs Saturday at 2 p.m on Cox Cable channel 15.
The Other Side: In the other semi-final series last night, Knoxville defeated Winston-Salem 1-0 to take a one game to none lead in that best of five series.
Hockey Happy Hour: The Trax weekly coach's show, the Hockey Happy Hour, is held every Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Locos Deli & Pub. Coach Brian Curran will be on hand, as well as one of the Trax players. Fans are invited to come by and visit the Hockey Happy Hour. The Trax will auction their home white jerseys at the first Hockey Happy Hour after the playoffs conclude.
