
Tom Frater Named Joins Flames as Equipment Manager

Saint John, NB - The Saint John Flames Hockey Club announced today the appointment of Tom Frater as the Club's Equipment Manager.
A 26-year-old native of Orangeville, Ontario, Frater brings eight years experience as an equipment manager to the Flames dressing room.
Frater joins the Flames from the East Coast Hockey League's Wheeling Nailers where he held a similar position last season. A graduate of Humber College in Toronto, his resume includes experience with the Port Huron Border Cats of the United Hockey League, the Albany Firebirds of the Arena Football League, the Albany Attack of the National Lacrosse League and the Brampton Battalion of the Ontario Hockey League. He has also served as the head equipment manager for the 1998 Mann Cup Champion Brampton Excelsiors of Canadian Major Lacrosse and as the assistant equipment manager for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League.
Frater is scheduled to arrive in Saint John in the next week and will assume his new duties immediately.
