(TOLEDO, OH) - The Toledo Walleye are pleased to announce their 72-game schedule for the 2010-2011. The Walleye will open the season on Friday, October 15 at Wheeling, WV and the home opener will take place on Saturday, October 16 (also versus Wheeling) at the Huntington Center at 7:00 PM.
**The game on Opening Day (October 16th) will be the culmination of an all-day "Fish Tailgate" party at The Huntington Center - more details to follow in the coming weeks.**

The Walleye will play 30 of the team's 36 total home games on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
Toledo will play 14 games against the Kalamazoo Wings (their closest rival at 150 miles), and 15 games against the defending Kelly Cup champion Cincinnati Cyclones.
The Walleye will also play games against Bakersfield (2), Elmira (8), Florida (5), Greenville (2), Gwinnett (4), Reading (6), South Carolina (2), Trenton (7), and Wheeling (7).
Toledo Walleye Head Coach, Nick Vitucci said, "I can't express enough how excited we are to be moving forward into year two. We all were very excited in our inaugural season of achieving the playoffs. That, coupled with the great support that we had from the fans, made it a memorable year. We now look forward to the challenge of building on our first season and hope to have you along once again for the ride."
