Toledo Mud Hens Announce 2013 Schedule

TOLEDO, OH - Get ready for another action-packed season of baseball and fun at Fifth Third Field. The Mud Hens start the 2013 season on the road in Louisville on April 4 against the Bats. The team returns to Fifth Third Field on Thursday, April 11 for its season opener and the start of a nine-game homestand.

Toledo will play nearly half of its 2013 home games on weekend dates (12 Fridays, 11 Saturdays, and 10 Sundays), including games at home over the Fourth of July holiday. The schedule again features mostly evening games at Fifth Third Field.

Fans of the Toledo Mud Hens will enjoy another season of fun-filled, family-friendly activities at the park including Kids Runs the Bases, Team Autograph Days, Weekend & Holiday Fireworks, Youth Baseball Camps with Mud Hens Players, and more. Back by popular demand: the Star Wars themed "May the Fourth be With You!" on Saturday, May 4.

The 2013 season will mark the 27th consecutive season as the Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, as well as the 12th season of play at Fifth Third Field.

All 11 Opening Day games at Fifth Third Field have been standing room only sell-out crowds. Single game tickets for the 2013 season will go on sale at a later date.
