
Tix for Pittsburgh Penguins preseason games in Wilkes-Barre on sale Sat., Aug. 31

WILKES-BARRE, PA. - Tickets for the two Pittsburgh Penguins preseason games scheduled to be played at the First Union Arena at Casey Plaza will go on sale Saturday, August 31 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Union Arena Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations and telephone outlets.
Ticket prices for the preseason games are $50.25 (Yellow), $35.25 (Red), $27.25 (Gold) and $20.25 (Blue).
The Penguins will host the New Jersey Devils on Sunday, September 22 at 5:05 p.m. and the Washington Capitals on Wednesday, October 2 at 7:05 p.m. at the First Union Arena at Casey Plaza.
The First Union Arena Box Office is currently open Monday thru Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will be open on Saturday, August 31 from 10:00 a.m.- 12 noon for the Penguins' on-sale only. However, starting on Tuesday, September 3, the Arena Box Office will be open Monday thru Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Payment accepted at the Arena Box Office includes cash, American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa. The First Union Arena Box Office does not accept telephone orders or personal checks.
Tickets can also be charged over the phone by calling Ticketmaster at (570) 693-4100, (215) 336-2000 and (607) 722-7272 and via the Internet at www.ticketmaster.com.
The Penguins will hold a portion of their training camp at the First Union Arena at Casey Plaza from September 20-22. The Penguins will arrive in Wilkes-Barre on Thursday, September 19 and will hold their first on-ice workouts on Friday, September 20. A complete training camp schedule will be announced at a later date.
