Titans Wnger Bohmbach Named Sher-Wood ECHL Player of Week

TRENTON, N.J. - Andy Bohmbach of the Trenton Titans is the Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of the Week for Feb. 13-19.

The 23-year-old left wing scored two goals, added eight assists and was a +7 last week as the Titans went 2-1-1.

Bohmbach opened the week with one goal, two assists and a +3 rating in a 6-5 shootout loss to Reading on Wednesday and he had one assist in a 4-2 loss against the Royals on Friday. On Saturday, Bohmbach tied a career high with four points (1g-3a) and was +3 in an 8-1 win at Elmira and he ended the week with two assists in a 5-1 victory against Wheeling on Sunday.

A native of Hudson, Wisc., Bohmbach has 43 points (18g-25a) in 37 games this season with the Titans, and he has added one assist in 10 American Hockey League games with Adirondack.

Bohmbach has 115 points (46g-69a) in 102 career ECHL games with Toledo and Trenton, and he represented the Walleye at the 2011 ECHL All-Star Classic in Bakersfield.

Prior to turning pro, Bohmbach registered 54 points (20g-34a) in 116 career games at the University of Wisconsin.

On behalf of Andy Bohmbach, a case of pucks will be donated to a Trenton youth hockey organization by Sher-Wood Hockey, the exclusive puck supplier of the ECHL. Since beginning its sponsorship of the award in 2000-01, Sher-Wood Hockey has donated more than 25,000 pucks to youth hockey organizations in ECHL cities.

The Titans continue their longest homestand of the season at 7 Wednesday night, hosting the Reading Royals. Former Flyer Orest Kindrachuk will sign autographs in conjunction with Flyers Family Alumni Night. It is also a Dollar Dogs Night, and the Homework Lounge, which is open from 5-7 p.m., will be available.

The Greenville Road Warriors then make their only visit to Trenton at 7 p.m. Friday. followed by Elmira appearing at the Sun National Bank Center at 7 Saturday evening (Military Appreciation Night) and 4 Sunday afternoon (Pucks And Paws).
