Titans Loan Thomas to Binghamton

TRENTON, N.J. - The Trenton Titans announced defenseman and assistant captain Andy Thomas has been loaned to the Binghamton Senators of the AHL

Thomas, 26 and a native of Bow, N.H., is getting his second chance to play in AHL this season, having earlier appeared in nine games with the Adirondack Phantoms. He played in 24 games with the Titans, recording a trio of assists. His steady play on the backline is his strength.

This is Thomas' fifth trip to the AHL. In addition to his stint with the Phantoms, he played in 25 games with the Iowa Chops in 2008-09, one with the Lowell Devils in 2009-10 and 28 with the Albany Devils in 2010-11. In 63 AHL games, Thomas has registered two goals and five assists.

The Titans enter the second half of the ECHL season with games this weekend at Elmira (7:35 p.m. Friday) and at home vs. Kalamazoo Saturday (7 p.m.), which is Scout Night, and Toledo Sunday (4 p.m.). A full-team autograph session will follow Sunday's game.
