Titans Alumni Game Brings Back Stars of the Past

TRENTON, N.J. - The Titans, as part of Fan Appreciation Night March 30, will be staging an Alumni Game following the regularly scheduled ECHL game with the Wheeling Nailers

The contest, pitting Titans Men's Cup champion Pylons, a team made up of Hamilton Police and Hamilton Firefighters, who normally call Ice Land in Hamilton home, will face off against the Alumni at 10 p.m.

Committed to play in the Alumni Game for the Titans already are Vince Williams, the present Titans head coach, Titans Special Assistant of Hockey Operations Scott Bertoli and defensemen Eric Brule and Kam White

. Williams first appeared with the Titans in 1999-2000, playing in 64 games. He appeared in 59 in 2000-01 before spending parts of the next two seasons before returning to the Titans in 2002-03 through 2005-06. In all, he appeared in 336 games with the Titans, scoring 57 points (13 goals, 44 assists) and registering 456 penalty minutes.

. Bertoli, the only Titans player to have his number retired. A member of the ECHL All-Decade Team (2000-10) - along with former Titans goalie Scott Sterling and 2011-12 Titans captain Randy Rowe - he is presently the Associate Director of Athletics at Princeton Day School and the school's head boys' varsity ice hockey coach. He played in 507 games with the Titans, scoring 526 points (182 goals, 344 assists), both club career-highs. He also holds the club record for points in a season with 79 (31 goals, 48 assists) achieved in his final 2006-7 season.

. Brule, a formidable performer on early Titans teams, played in 51 games in 1999-2000 and 2000-01. He notched 42 points (6 goals, 36 assists) and 78 penalty minutes at the end of his career. A former Associate coach with the Titans (2003-04) and coach at Lawrenceville School (2001-07). He currently operates Brule Hockey LLC, which includes the Trenton Habs Junior 'A' Ice Hockey Club.

. White, a sixth-round draft pick by Toronto in 1994, was an original (1999-2000) Titan and played four seasons with the club. He appeared in 240 games with the club in 1999-2000, 2000-01, 2001-02 and 2002-03, scoring 43 points (7 goals, 36 assists) and recording 842 penalty minutes.

The Titans play in Reading Friday night and have three home games remaining - Reading (March 24), which is Irish Heritage Night, Elmira (March 28), the final Flyers Family Alumni Wednesday, and Wheeling (March 30), Fan Appreciation Night..
