Brutlag Returns from AHL Norfolk

Forward Bryan Brutlag has been re-assigned to the Gladiators from the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Brutlag appeared in the Admirals AHL record setting 18th straight win on Sunday as he helped Norfolk to a 5-0 win over Charlotte. He has appeared in four career AHL games, all with Norfolk. He has not registered a point but has earned a +1 plus minus rating in the AHL.

The Lakeville, Minnesota native currently leads all Gladiators rookies and shares first in scoring with 46 points (20 goals, 26 assists) in 65 games this season. He has also earned a +4 plus/minus rating while with Gwinnett.

The 5-foot-11, 189-pound forward earned 60 points (21 goals, 39 assists) in 151 career collegiate games at RPI from 2007-2011. He had a career best eight goals at RPI during his senior season in 2010-11.

The Gladiators are the ECHL Affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres and the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and are members of the ECHL, the Premier "AA" Hockey League and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
