Fort Wayne, IN (July 25, 2010) - Fort Wayne's Parkview Field has not been kind to the Bees.

Including last year's Midwest League Championship Series, the Bees have now lost seven games in a row at the home of the Fort Wayne TinCaps, after Monday night's 6-1 loss.

The TinCaps chased Bees starter Matt Mitchell (L, 1-7) in second inning during a rally that saw them bring home the sum total of their offense. Mitchell had trouble finding the plate, walking five batters in just an inning and two-thirds. Four of the five walks found their way home, with Dean Anna's three-run double to open the scoring proving to be the decisive blow.

The Bees' lone tally came home in the fourth. Gerard Hall singled to open the inning, stole second, and moved to third on a Carlo Testa groundout. Jake Kuebler brought Hall home with a groundout of his own to third. After outhitting the TinCaps 10-4 on Sunday afternoon, the Bees mustered only two hits after the fifth inning as they futilely attempted to climb back into the game.

The Bees return to Community Field on Wednesday to open a three-game series against Beloit with Kids Eat Free Wednesday. All kids 12 and under receive a free hot dog and a drink with their paid admission. The game gets under way at 6:30, and gates open at 5:30.
