Late goals by midfielder Jack Jewsbury and defender Eric Brunner guided the Timbers to a 2-0 win over Chivas USA in a MLS U.S. Open Cup play-in match last week at the University of Portland ¬â¢s Merlo Field. The goals by Jewsbury and Brunner came two minutes apart inside the final six minutes of the match against a 10-man Chivas USA side.
