
Timbers Acquire 2018 International Spot from D.C. United in Exchange

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers have acquired an international spot through Dec. 31, 2018, from D.C. United in exchange for forward Darren Mattocks, it was announced today.
"We appreciate Darren's contributions for the past two seasons and wish him all the best moving forward," said Gavin Wilkinson, general manager and president of soccer for the Timbers.
Joining Portland in 2016, Mattocks, 27, made 43 appearances (23 starts) for the Timbers, recording five goals and five assists in two seasons.
