Medicine Hat Tigers News Release
Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers are excited to announce the signing of 2018 Bantam Draft pick Rhett Parsons to a standard WHL Player Agreement.
"Rhett is a smart and competitive two-way defenceman. He's tough to play against and willing to pay a price on the ice. He has shown considerable improvement and we are excited about his continued development," said Bobby Fox, Director of Player Personnel.
Parsons hails from Cremona, AB and played 36 for the Airdrie Xtreme Bantam AAA in the AMBHL last season during which the 5'11, 183 lbs defenseman picked up 8 assists.
"We are pleased to welcome Rhett and his family to the Tigers Organization. We look forward to working with Rhett as he progresses to the WHL," said Shaun Clouston, General Manager and Head Coach.
