
ICE Face Hitmen in Pre-Season Opener

Red Deer, AB - The Kootenay ICE begin its seven-game pre-season schedule against the Calgary Hitmen on Friday. The game will take place at Enmax Centrium in Red Deer with puck drop scheduled for 3 p.m. MT.
Twenty-seven players are heading to Red Deer, which consist of three goaltenders, 10 defencemen, and 14 forwards.
The game will not be broadcast or streamed online, however, you can keep up-to-date with the latest score on the Kootenay ICE social media feeds (Twitter, Facebook).
The ICE are in Red Deer for two games this weekend, including Friday's tilt with the Hitmen. On Saturday, the ICE battle the Edmonton Oil Kings at Enmax Centrium with a scheduled puck drop of 3 p.m. MT.

The Invermere Pre-season Classic presented by Kootenay Insurance Services and Kootenay Savings Credit Union is taking place on Friday, September 14 at 7 p.m. at Eddie Mountain Memorial Arena. Tickets can be purchased at the following locations:
