
Tigers Announce All-Star Fanfest & Experience

Norwich, CT - Tomorrow at noon 2013 All-Star Event Tickets will be on sale. This is the ultimate fan VIP experience. All-Star Game tickets cost the same as a standard Connecticut Tigers ticket. An All-Star Game ticket includes the adventure bound Fanfest as well as a spectacular post-game fireworks display.
It all starts Monday August 12th for the Gala Event at Mohegan Sun Cabaret Theater at 6:30 p.m. On this night there will be player introductions, food, and beverages. Food will include a vegetable crudite display, imported/domestic cheese variety, Caesar salad station, pasta station, carving station, desserts, and a variety of beverages. The cost of this event is $75 per guest.
Tuesday, August 13th there will be a Luncheon at the Holiday Inn in Norwich. The luncheon includes a buffet meal that includes salads, meats, and a variety of potatoes and vegtables. Jay Johnstone will be the keynote speaker of the event. Johnstone played professional baseball for 19 seasons with eight different ball clubs including the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers. Johnstone was also a radio color commentator for the Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies. Tickets for this event cost $35 per guest.
Before the start of the All-Star game join fans and guests at Dodd Stadium for Fanfest and Home Run Derby. While the teams are taking their infield and batting practice, there will be an AL and NL autograph session beiginning at 2:45 p.m. A zip line along with other attractions will be available for entertainment and Fanfest. There will be an All-Star Pre-Game Party that starts at 5:15 at the BBQ Pavilion located down the left field line. Enjoy a BBQ picnic before the game that consists of hot dogs, hamburgers, BBQ chicken, salads, clam chowder, desserts and beverages. Tickets for this event cost $35 per guest.
After the game there will be a Post-Game Party on the third base concourse/BBQ Pavilion. There will be plenty of food and drink for guests including Philly's: A Taste of Philadelphia and Southpaws Bar to enjoy as well as a live band to cap the night off. Tickets for this event costs $25 per guest.
