Tierre Brown named to second consecutive All-NBDL First Team

CHARLESTON, S.C. (March 31) Four Charleston Lowgators received the first installment of post-season honors on Wednesday when the All NBDL-Teams were announced by the National Basketball Development League.
For the second straight season, point guard Tierre Brown was named to the All-NBDL First Team. The McNeese St. product is currently leading the league in scoring along with Asheville's Desmond Penigar averaging 18.6 points per game. Brown ranks third in assists (6.5) and steals (1.8) and fifth in minutes (33.5).
Lowgators coach Doug Marty said, "We are very proud of Tierre. He has shown his outstanding ability for two years now. He loves the game of basketball and has worked hard at becoming a great player."
Forward Ime Udoka was named to the All-NBDL Second Team. Udoka ranks fourth in the league scoring 16.4 points per game and is averaging seven rebounds per contest. Both Udoka and Brown are in their second year with Charleston.
Guard Alpha Bangura and forward Rolen Roberts received All-NBDL Honorable Mentions.
