20 REPRESENTING: There are currently 20 former NBDL players on NBA rosters, including former Fayetteville forward Britton Johnsen, who signed for the remainder of the season with the Magic on Tuesday.
TIERRE TIMES 20: Charleston guard Tierre Brown has scored at least 20 points 18 times this season, including in nine of his last 13 games. He has averaged 20 points per game over his last 16 outings.
POOLE TO SAN ANTONIO, CARRION TO ATHENS: NBDL official Olandis Poole has been selected to officiate the NCAA Final Four in San Antonio. Poole is the second NBDL referee to be recently honored. Jose Carrion was selected to officiate in the 2004 Olympic Games.
FORMER NBDL COACH READY: Former Greenville Groove assistant coach Stephanie Ready, the first woman to coach in men's professional sports, has been named as an assistant coach with the WNBA Washington Mystics. Ready is the fifth NBDL coaching Gatorade Callup.
NBDL ON NBA TV: April 5 at 4 p.m. ET, Charleston at Fayetteville; at 6 p.m. "This Week in the NBDL", guests include Charleston G Tierre Brown, Asheville F Desmond Penigar and Huntsville F Rodney Bias.
