Ottawa Lynx News Release

Game Recap: Norfolk scored early and often, hanging 10 runs on the Lynx pitching staff Saturday afternoon. The Tides scored once in the first, another time in the second and four more times in the third to start the game. They put two more on the board in the sixth and another run in the seventh before the Lynx got on the board in the bottom of the eighth. Chris Roberson got things started, reaching on an error. He moved to second on Joe Thurston's single and then to third on Jason Jaramillo's walk. Gary Burnham cashed in the only Lynx run of the day with a bases-loaded walk. Norfolk put another run on the board in the top of the ninth to close out the scoring. Jason Jaramillo's 10-game hit streak was snapped in the process, one game short of Gary Burnham's team-high 11-game streak.
