TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Buffalo Bisons take on the Durham Bulls in the third game of a four-game series from Durham Bulls Athletic Park (7:00 p.m.). The Herd is coming off back-to-back victories against the Bulls to start the second half of the 2007 season. On the mound tonight will be RHP Adam Miller. Miller threw 2.2 innings against the Bulls last Sunday and allowed five runs in defeat. Durham will counter with RHP Jeff Neimann.

NORTHERN LEADERS: The Bisons have been in first place in the IL North division since May 5 (71 consecutive days). Their current lead is 2.5 games over second-place Scranton/WB. The Herd's lead peaked at 4.0 games on July 6.

ROAD WARRIORS: With 28 wins in 45 games, the Buffalo Bisons are the owners of the best road record in the International League (.622 winning percentage). The pitching staff has posted a 3.65ERA on the road this season (4.48ERA at home).

VS. THE BULLS: The Bisons are 4-2 in six games against the Bulls this season. With last night's win, the Herd assured itself at least a split of the season-series. It's the eighth consecutive season Buffalo has earned at least a split against Durham.

MILLER TIME: RHP Adam Miller is scheduled to pitch 5.0 innings or 75-80 pitches tonight as he nears returning to full strength. Miller missed from May 12-June 25 with a bruised ligament in the middle finger of his throwing hand. Prior to the injury, Miller went 4-1 with a 2.41ERA in seven starts.

HOT BAD: Outfielder Brad Snyder came up huge for the Herd last night. His two-run triple in the top of the ninth tied the game at three. He then walked, stole second and scored the game winning run in the 11th. For the game, Snyder reached base four times, going 2-3 with two walks and two stolen bases. In his last 10 games, Snyder is hitting .364 with 1HR and 5RBI.

CLOSE ONE: The Bisons now have 10 wins in their last at-bat, including an impressive 6-2 record in extra-inning wins. Buffalo is also 15-9 in one-run games, including a 9-5 mark on the road.

BULLY FOR THE PEN: Last night, RHP Bubbie Buzachero became the sixth Bisons pitcher to earn a save this season. So far in July, the Herd pen has posted a 1.80ERA (30.IP, 28H, 12R, 6ER, 6BB, 32K).
