Tickets Still Available For The 2009 Subway Super Series Game

(Windsor) The Windsor Spitfires today announced that fans can still purchase tickets for the 2009 SubwayR Super Series game between Team OHL and Team Russia to be hosted at the WFCU Centre this upcoming Monday, November 23 at 7 p.m. 350 tickets are still available and can be purchased from the TekSavvy.com Box Office (Gate 2) at the WFCU Centre. Tickets can also be purchased by calling (519) 254-5000 or online at windsorspitfires.com. Ticket prices for the game are as follows:

Main Bowl Seats - $22

Restaurant Seats - $24

The SUBWAYR Super Series is an integral part of the identification process for Canada's National Junior Team final selection camp as regional teams of CHL All-Stars compete against the Russian National Junior Team. Hockey Canada's Men's National Team Head Scout Al Murray works with regional league General Managers to assemble the best Canadian talent for the QMJHL, OHL, and WHL All-Star teams. Windsor Spitfire forwards Taylor Hall, Greg Nemisz and Adam Henrique along with Spitfire defenseman Ryan Ellis will be participating in the game for Team OHL on Monday, November 23.

AM800 CKLW will be broadcasting the game in Windsor and will host a special pre-game show with Steve Bell and Paul McDonald starting at 6:30. Spitfire play-by-play man Mike Miller will call the on-ice action starting at 7 pm. The game will also be broadcast on Rogers Sportsnet.
