Tyson Teichmann Named to Ontario Under 17 Roster

Belleville Bulls goaltender Tyson Teichmann has been selected to represent Team Ontario at the 2010 World Under 17 Hockey Challenge being held December 29 through January 4 in Timmins, Ontario. Team Ontario is the two time defending gold medalist of the ten team event that includes five regional teams from Canada along with five international squads from Finland, Sweden, Russia, Czech Republic, and USA. Bulls Assistant Coach Jake Grimes serves as the Head Coach for Team Ontario.
Teichmann currently holds a 1-5-0-0 record along with a 4.83GAA and.853SV% including a 1.84GAA and.934SV% in his past four appearances. The Belleville native spent last season with the Quinte Red Devils AAA Minor Midget before being selected by the Bulls in the first round of the 2009 OHL Priority Selection.
Team Ontario will play an exhibition game against Russia on December 28 before opening the round robin schedule the following day with a match-up versus Finland. Last year, Stephen Silas was a member of Team Ontario's gold medal winning team.
