CARY, N.C. - Over 6,500 tickets have been sold to the Tuesday, May 29th Third Round Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup match between the Defending MLS Champions LA Galaxy and the Carolina RailHawks at WakeMed Soccer Park. No more tickets are available in the initial inventory. The Town of Cary and the RailHawks are working closely together to gain clearance to open the newly constructed North Stand at WakeMed Soccer Park. Final inspections and approvals are scheduled for Friday.
In the interim, "Galaxy 3-Packs" can be reserved by calling the Cruizers Box Office at WakeMed Soccer Park at 919-459-8144. These packages will be reserved on a first come first served basis and if the North Stand is cleared for use at the Friday inspection, orders will be processed.
"A huge thank you goes out to the Town of Cary as well as the many construction workers who have worked tirelessly on phase one of the six million dollar upgrades that are ongoing here at WakeMed Soccer Park," said RailHawks President Curt Johnson. "The Open Cup game against the Galaxy will be a fantastic way to showcase the new WakeMed Soccer Park, the passion that exist in this community for professional soccer and the ongoing stadium improvements."
