U.S. Soccer announced the fourth round draws on May 23 and the potential fourth round match would be played at Heroes Stadium.

If the Scorpions advance, they would play the winner of the third round match between FC Dallas of Major League Soccer and the Charlotte Eagles of USL-PRO (3rd Division), which will be played in Dallas on May 29. The fourth round match at Heroes Stadium would be played on June 5 with a kickoff time at 7:30 p.m.

Ticket information for this potential match will be announced in the coming days.

"We are excited to have the Houston Dynamo coming to San Antonio and we are just as excited for the opportunity to host another match in this historic tournament," Scorpions team president Michael Hitchcock said. "This would be great for our team, our fans and our city as we continue to show everyone how big soccer is in San Antonio."

Tuesday's meeting with the Dynamo will be the first time the Scorpions face an MLS team and their second game in the U.S. Open Cup, the oldest ongoing soccer tournament in the country that features 64 teams from all levels of professional and amateur soccer in the United States. The team that wins the tournament would earn an automatic berth in the CONCACAF Champions League.
