Thursday's Zephyrs Game Rained Out

Metairie, LA - Torrential downpours throughout the afternoon on Thursday led to unplayable field conditions at Zephyr Field, forcing the postponement of the game between the Iowa Cubs and New Orleans Zephyrs.

The Cubs and Zephyrs will play a doubleheader on Friday, beginning at 5:00 p.m. The second game will be followed by a fireworks show. Friday is Military Appreciation Night, and fans will be able to bid on the camouflage jerseys worn by the Zephyrs during the game. All military personnel and their families will receive free admission with presentation of military ID.

Tickets from Thursday's game can be redeemed for a ticket to any Zephyrs game the remainder of the 2011 season.
