SAVANNAH, GA -Thursday's Savannah Sand Gnats game against the Charleston RiverDogs has been postponed by unplayable field conditions following heavy rainfall in the Savannah area. The two teams will play a doubleheader, composed of two seven-inning games, beginning at 5:35 pm on Friday evening. Game two will begin thirty minutes after the completion of game one.

All of Thursday's promotions will move to Friday. Friday will be the first-ever Thirsty Friday at Historic Grayson Stadium. All regular draft beers and sodas will be two-for-one all night long. The Gnats First Annual Cornhole Tournament moves to Friday evening and is now scheduled to start at 7:30 pm. Fans can enter during the day Friday by calling the Gnats front office at (912) 351-9150. Friday will also be Lucky Hot Dog Night where some dogs will come wrapped in cash. The more you eat, the better your chances to win.

Fans holding tickets for Thursday, August 26, can redeem them at any of the Gnats' six remaining regular-season home dates in 2010.

The 2010 playoffs, presented by the Tate Law Group, begin at home on September 10, when the Gnats host the second-half champions.
