Published on July 2, 2009 under International League (IL1)
Buffalo Bisons News Release
Thursday's game between the Buffalo Bisons and the Rochester Red Wings at Coca-Cola Field has been postponed due to wet grounds/unplayable field conditions.
The teams will make up the game as part of a doubleheader on Monday, August 10 (Game 1: 5:35 p.m.). Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. The teams will play two, seven-inning games that day.
***PLEASE NOTE: Thursday's postponement will not affect the Bisons Independence Eve Celebration on Friday, July 3. That game will still be ONE GAME ONLY beginning at 6:05 p.m.
Fans holding tickets to Thursday's game can exchange them for two comparable tickets to any future 2009 Bisons games (excluding special events). All ticket exchanges must be made at the Coca-Cola Field box office. Please note that these exchanges do not have to be made on Thursday, July 2. Fans with tickets can exchange them throughout the remainder of the 2009 season.
For more information regarding the exchange policy, fans can contact the Bisons at THE-HERD (843-4373).
