
Indians Return To Victory Field On Saturday

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Indians open a three-game homestand on Saturday when the division rival Louisville Bats come to Victory Field for an Independence Day contest at 6 p.m. The two teams will continue the series with games on Sunday and Monday.
Saturday night's Fourth of July contest between the Indians and Bats is sold out. A limited number of standing-room-only tickets will be made available at game time (6 p.m.).
Sat. July 4 Louisville 6:00 p.m.
* Independence Day Fireworks -- Celebrate the Fourth of July at Victory Field. Enjoy nine innings of baseball, and two post-game fireworks spectaculars.
* American Flag Giveaway -- The first 10,000 fans will receive a hand-held American Flag courtesy of Flagstar Bank. Gates open at 4:30 p.m.
Sun. July 5 Louisville 2:00 p.m.
* Indians Baseball Card Set Giveaway -- It's another Souvenir Sunday at Victory Field as the first 4,000 fans receive a 2009 Indians Baseball Card Set courtesy of Fazoli's. Gates open at 12:30 p.m.
Mon. July 6 Louisville 7:00 p.m.
* Monday Dollar Menu -- For the seventh time this season hot dogs, popcorn, peanuts, Cracker Jack and potato chips will be available for just $1 each.
