ThunderBolts Playoff Tickets Go On Sale August 21

Crestwood, IL - The Windy City ThunderBolts are closing in on the franchise's first playoff berth and single game playoff tickets will go on sale at 10:00am on Tuesday, August 21. Ticket prices remain the same as during the regular season and can be purchased by visiting the box office, calling 708-489-BALL, or online at ticketmaster.com.
The Frontier League Playoffs consist of a Divisional round and a Championship round. Both rounds are played using a best of five games format. The three division winners and a wild card make the playoffs. The two division winners with the best records have home field advantage in the Divisional round and host Games 1, 2, and 5 if necessary.
The ThunderBolts are battling with the Gateway Grizzlies for the overall number 1 seed and the right to home field advantage throughout the playoffs. If the current standings remain the same, the ThunderBolts will host Games 1 and 2 of the Divisional round on Tuesday, September 4 and Wednesday, September 5. If necessary, Game 5 would be on Sunday, September 9. Game times have not yet been determined.
Tickets for both the Divisional round and the Championship round will go on sale on Tuesday, August 21. Tickets for unplayed playoff games can be exchanged for future 2007 playoff games or tickets to 2008 regular season games. No cash refunds will be given. Undated vouchers and season ticket exchanges are also not valid for playoff games.
