Thunderbirds Finalize Opening Night Roster

Rio Rancho, NM – The New Mexico Thunderbirds have announced they have finalized their opening night roster by releasing Tony Danridge, Ramon Dyer and Kasif Watson.

After these releases, the Thunderbirds' roster is now set for opening night on Nov. 20 against the Idaho Stampede in Boise, Idaho:

On Monday, Nov. 22, the Thunderbirds will be hosting Fan Fest, their final preseason scrimmage of the season, at the Santa Ana Star Center. The event features $1 Hot Dogs and free admission. Doors will open at 5 p.m. for a Team meet and greet with the fans, and the scrimmage will tip off at 6 p.m. Fans in attendance will have a chance to participate in on-court games, meet the Thunderbirds players, coaches and watch Thunder Cat try out some new tricks. There will also be the opportunity for fans to select their seats and purchase season tickets or individual tickets for Opening Weekend on Nov. 26 and 27.

Thunderbirds' season tickets are currently on sale, with full and partial season packages available. Single game tickets are also now available online at www.nmtbirds.com or by calling 505-265-3865.
