
Thunder Visits Roseville for Training Camp

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Edmonton Oilers and American Hockey League's Springfield Falcons, has announced the team's training camp for the 2008-09 season will start Monday, October 6 at Skatetown Ice Arena in Roseville, Calif.
The Thunder is scheduled to skate in the Sacramento-area facility for three days, open to the public, from Oct. 6-8 starting at 9:30 a.m. PT each day. The Thunder is scheduled to use Stockton Arena as its flagship practice site, with a practice session open to the public scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Skatetown Ice Arena is located at 1009 Orlando Ave. in Roseville.
Select practice sessions are also scheduled to be held at Stockton's Oak Park Ice Arena (open to the public), located at 3545 Alvarado Ave. in Stockton.
All media wishing to cover practice and morning skate sessions must contact the Thunder media relations or communications department at (209) 373-1500. Thunder coaching staff and players will be available for comment in the Thunder dressing room following the end of each session. As per club media policy, the training room and dressing room restrooms are strictly off-limits at all times. Players receiving medical treatment in training room during post-game access period will be available to the media following treatment.
