Valentini, 21, turns pro after playing parts of the last four years in the Ontario Hockey League with the London Knights and Sudbury Wolves. His career-high came during the 2016-17 campaign when he registered 50 points (18g, 32a) in 66 games Last year, he appeared in one game before his season was cut short due to an injury. The Mississauga, Ontario native tallied 78 points (29g, 49a) in 130 career OHL games.
"I'm very excited to turn pro," stated Valentini. "Playing professional hockey has been a goal of mine for a long time and Wichita sounds like a great place to start. I've heard nothing but good things about the organization and I can't wait to be a part of it."
