Thunder holds on to defeat RiverKings, 3-2

Wichita, KS --- Wichita Thunder veteran Joe Blaznek scored all three of this team's goals as the Thunder defeated the Memphis RiverKings 3-2 Sunday evening at the Kansas Coliseum. The RiverKings and Thunder will go at it again on Thursday at the DeSoto Civic Center at 7:05.

Ryan Campbell and Jason Sessa each scored their 21st goals of the season to account for the RiverKings' scoring. The RiverKings outshot the Thunder 34-24, but went 0-8 on the power play. The Thunder win evened the season series with the RiverKings at three wins apiece with the seventh and final game between the clubs coming up on Thursday.

The first 1,500 fans Thursday will receive RiverKings CheerStix sponsored by WMC TV Channel 5.
