Thunder has another game postponed

WICHITA, KS- Tonight's Thunder game at the Tulsa Oilers has been postponed due to the icy weather conditions throughout much of the Midwest. No make-up date has been announced.

After going 14 years without postponing a game, the Thunder have now had an unprecedented five games postponed due to weather this season. Unlike the previous two times this season, the Thunder is currently stuck in Lubbock, Texas, where they defeated the Cotton Kings, 3-1, last night, moving their record to 4-0-1 in their last five games.

Back on December 20th, the Thunder had a game at the Colorado Eagles postponed twice due to snow. That game was eventually played on December 22nd, but forced the postponement of another game in Tulsa. That game will be made up on Tuesday, February 6th.

On December 29th, the Thunder got stuck in the second Colorado blizzard, forcing the cancellation of their home game on December 30th versus the Amarillo Gorillas. That game will be made up on Tuesday, February 20th at the Kansas Coliseum.

The Thunder will continue their road trip - now a four-game trip "" next weekend with a pair of games at Rio Grande Valley and Laredo. The Thunder will finally return home to host the Colorado Eagles for the first time this season, on Saturday, January 28th.
