The Stockton Thunder returns to play this Friday to open Thunder Goes Pink VII against the Bakersfield Condors at Stockton Arena. It will be the third of 11 meetings this season and the Thunder is currently 2-0-0 against the Condors. The Thunder has an all time winning record of 31-27-12 against Bakersfield and won its last meeting 3-2 in sudden death overtime on Sunday, Oct. 28. The weekend is a Thunder signature promotional event designed to raise awareness for breast cancer awareness. Proceeds from ticket sales, memorabilia auctions and more will benefit St. Joseph's Foundation - Breast Health Services. The Thunder will wear special pink jerseys and play on pink ice at Stockton Arena.

The Thunder wraps up Thunder Goes Pink VII with back to back games on Saturday and Sunday against the Alaska Aces at Stockton Arena. Saturday's game marks the first matchup since the two teams dueled in last season's Kelly Cup Playoffs, won by Alaska 4-1 in a best of seven Conference Semifinal series. The Thunder is 26-25-14 against Alaska in the lifetime series. The two games will feature several players with NHL playing experience, including Thunder forward Philippe Cornet (Edmonton) and Alaska forwards Brandon Dubinsky (New York Rangers), Joey Crabb (Toronto) and Nate Thompson (Tampa Bay ).

A Thunder signature event returns for its seventh season with pink ice, pink jerseys and pink giveaways to support fundraising for breast cancer. Female fans in attendance (first 1,000 for Friday and Sunday and first 2,000 for Saturday) will receive a special pink tote bag and after Saturday's game, the Thunder pink jerseys will be auctioned via live auction.

Sunday's game is also a Family Day which offers four tickets, hot dogs and soft drinks for $34 with a free Thunder cap when purchased online at stocktonthunder.com.

WHAT: Pink will take to the streets of downtown Stockton for the third annual Thunder Goes Pink 5K Run/Walk. Participants are invited after the event to watch Thunder morning skate from the seats of Stockton Arena. WEEK IN REVIEW

STK 3 - BAK 2 (OT) (10/28/12): Tony DeHart's blast from the high slot with six seconds left in sudden death overtime lifted the Stockton Thunder (4-1-1, 9 points) to a 3-2 victory over the Bakersfield Condors before 5,062 fans at Stockton Arena on Sunday. The Thunder outshot the Condors 45-26 and were helped out with additional goals from Ryan Constant and Toni Rajala.

STK 4 - BAK 3 (10/27/12): Defenseman Teigan Zahn and center Justin Maylan each collected a goal and an assist, while goaltender Tyler Bunz made 21 saves to lift the Stockton Thunder (3-1-1, 7 points) to a 4-3 victory over the Bakersfield Condors before 4,759 fans at Rabobank Arena on Saturday night. The Thunder completed a four game road trip at 3-0-1 and earned the eventual game winning goal on a shorthanded breakaway by Matt Reber in the third period.
