
Utah's MacKenzie is AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performer of the Month

PRINCETON, N.J. - Utah Grizzlies defenseman Drew MacKenzie is the AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performer of the Month for October after leading the league with a plus-minus rating of +8.
MacKenzie was even or better in all six games in October, including +2 performances on Oct. 12 at Idaho, Oct. 19 at Alaska and Oct. 27 against Idaho.
Under contract to Abbotsford of the American Hockey League, MacKenzie is in his first professional season and has three points (1g-2a) in five games. A seventh-round selection (209th overall) by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, MacKenzie played four seasons at the University of Vermont, registering 64 points (17g-47a) in 133 career games.
In recognition of his accomplishment, AMI Graphics will present Drew MacKenzie with a personalized Plus Performer of the Month Banner during an on-ice ceremony at an upcoming Grizzlies' home game.
