
Thunder Announce Preliminary Roster

Trenton Thunder News Release
(Trenton, NJ)- The Trenton Thunder, Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, have released a preliminary list of players heading to Trenton for the beginning of the 2009 season.
The team will announce an official roster with 24 active players prior to Trenton's first game on Wednesday April 8th against the Binghamton Mets (Double-A affiliate of the New York Mets).
Fans are invited out to the ballpark on Tuesday, April 7 for the free Welcome North Fan Fest starting at 3:00 PM. The event will allow fans to watch the team's only practice in Trenton before the season and will feature an autograph session with the players. All children with a ticket, ages 12 and under, will receive a voucher upon entering the ballpark good for a free hot dog, bag of potato chips and a 12 oz. fountain soda at all 71 Thunder home games this season.
