
Thunder Acquire Goaltender Peter Di Salvo

Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Thunder have acquired goaltender Peter Di Salvo from the Allen Americans in exchange for future considerations.
Di Salvo, 25, joins the Thunder with five games of ECHL experience, coming this season with Allen and Colorado. With the Americans and Eagles, Di Salvo has compiled a 2-1-0 record to accompany a 2.18 goals against average and a .915 save percentage. The Oakville, ONT native made his ECHL debut on December 16 with Colorado, as he made 27 saves on 28 shots to earn his first career ECHL win. Di Salvo has also saw time in 14 SPHL games with the Mississippi River Kings, where he ranks second in the league with a 2.12 goals against average. The Barrie Colts alum has amassed a 41-17-3 record in 61 career SPHL games, as well as a 2.29 G.A.A. and a .926 SV%.
