Allen Americans News Release
Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans announced today that the club has dealt goalie Peter DiSalvo to the Adirondack Thunder for future considerations.
DiSalvo made one start for the Americans, while appearing in three games. In DiSalvo's only start, he allowed one goal in beating the Tulsa Oilers 2-1 on January 31st.
"Peter is a good young goalie and deserves an opportunity to play," said Allen Americans Head Coach Steve Martinson. "With Riley coming back soon we found a good opportunity for Peter to get a chance to play."
DiSalvo played in a combined five ECHL games this season between both Colorado and Allen, with a record of 2-1-0. He has also played in 14 games this season with the Mississippi River Kings with a record of 9-3-2 and a .932 save percentage.
The Americans resume their seven-game road trip on Friday night in Missouri against the Mavericks. Tickets for the next home game on February 27th are on sale NOW at www.allenamericans.com or call (972) 912-1000.
