Three Wenatchee Wild Players Reassigned by NHL Clubs Tuesday

WENATCHEE, Wash. - The Wenatchee Wild of the Western Hockey League (WHL) have announced the reassignment of three players from National Hockey League (NHL) training camps. The Wild were informed of the moves Tuesday.

Defenseman Graham Sward has been reassigned to the Wild by the Nashville Predators - the Predators' fifth-round selection in the 2022 NHL Draft has played 184 career WHL games, posting 18 goals and 81 assists. He appeared in two preseason games for Wenatchee earlier this month, notching three points.

Goaltender Mason Beaupit was reassigned to the Wild by the San Jose Sharks - San Jose's fourth-round selection in the 2022 NHL Draft has 40 career wins in the WHL, and appeared in one game this past preseason for Wenatchee.

Forward Easton Armstrong was reassigned to Wenatchee by the Los Angeles Kings - Armstrong earned a free-agent invite to this season's Kings training camp. Armstrong has made 148 appearances in WHL play, totaling 43 points. He appeared in two games for the Wild this preseason, posting three points.

After opening the season with a pair of home games, Wenatchee embarks on its longest road trip of the season, playing eight games in seven arenas before returning home on October 20. First up on the road swing is a visit to the Everett Silvertips on Friday night, with the opening puck drop scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Live coverage is available on Newsradio 560 KPQ and WHL Live.

Wenatchee's return to home ice sees the Vancouver Giants come in for the team's Wild About Awareness Non-Profit Night on Friday, October 20, while the Brandon Wheat Kings come to Wenatchee for Healthcare Workers Night the following evening.
