Three teams look to clinch playoff spots this week

NEW YORK - The Dallas Desperados (9-2), Colorado Crush (8-3) and Nashville Kats (7-4) can become the first three teams to claim playoff berths as the Drive to ArenaBowl XX Las Vegas kicks into high gear for Week 12.

Dallas, who has not reached the postseason since a 2003 first-round loss to Georgia, has won six of its last seven games, including two in a row, and currently stands three games ahead of New York (6-5) and Philadelphia (6-5) in the Eastern Division. The Desperados, who are 6-0 on the road this season, also hope to become just the second team in AFL history to win their first seven road games, matching the 2000 Arizona Rattlers.

Colorado (8-3) holds a one-game lead over Nashville (7-4) in the Central Division. The teams split their two games, with the Kats winning 58-36 on February 18 in Nashville and Colorado winning 77-47 on April 1 in Denver.

2) Dallas win + Philadelphia loss + Georgia loss
3) Dallas win + Philadelphia loss + Orlando loss + Tampa Bay loss
4) Dallas win + New York loss + Georgia loss
5) Dallas win + New York loss + Orlando loss + Tampa Bay loss

The COLORADO CRUSH clinch an American Conference playoff spot with any of the following scenarios:
1) Colorado win
2) Chicago loss
3) Las Vegas loss
4) San Jose loss + Los Angeles loss

The NASHVILLE KATS clinch an American Conference playoff spot with any of the following scenarios:
1) Nashville win + Grand Rapids loss + Chicago loss + Las Vegas loss
2) Nashville win + Grand Rapids loss + Chicago loss + San Jose Loss + Los Angeles loss
3) Nashville win + Grand Rapids loss + Las Vegas loss + Los Angeles loss
