
Three Stars Named to NHL CSS List

Lincoln, Neb. - The Stars had three players named to the final NHL Central Scouting rankings, the NHL announced on Tuesday.
Tanner Laczynski, Peyton Jones and affiliate Carter Long made the list.
Laczynski is ranked 99th among North American skaters. He has 109 points in 111 USHL games. The 6'1" 197 pound Ohio State commit finished fourth in league scoring this season with 63 points in 52 games.
Peyton Jones is ranked 23rd among North American goalies. He went 19-11-3 with a 2.34 GAA and .922 save percentage this season. Jones stands at 6'3" 210 pounds and will attend Penn State in the fall.
Affiliate defenseman Carter Long is ranked 205th among North American skaters. Long is 6'4" 209 pounds. He recorded 33 points in 26 games with Selects Hockey Academy of the USPHL this season. The Stars drafted the Vermont commit in the third round of the 2015 USHL Phase II Draft.
